External Main Screen size is slightly bigger than resolution - no picture after resizing

I have a 2 screen (external/internal) setup:
Xiao-Mi Main-Screen hooked up via DisplayPort2.1
MacBook M4 Pro 16" internal screen
connected via ThinkPad 4B USB TB-4 universal dock

Since last update of BetterDisplay the screen size of the Main screen is slightly bigger than the resolution on the screen resulting in home bar moving out of screen when touching the upper screen limit and moving the screen to its virtual upper edge. Other way around when I move the mouse downwards: upper edge disappears again and bottom shows home bar again.

I thought, maybe the resolution got misplaced or altered. Tried to switch to other resolution of Xiaome main screen. Since then the screen is black (no standby!) and shows only picture, if lid is closed.

Maybe some kind of overscan is in effect?

Anyway, if it's a Mac or app issue, you can simply reset display settings to default (see the "Reset display system settings" button):

Uhm, the issue was the "no display at all" rather than "oh, some margin is missing" (no, overscan was not activated by me, maybe the monitor file got - again - converted during update into a "seen monitor long time ago copy 42 thousand".
Is there no better way during update to >>>> migrate <<<<< the old settings into the new program ans USE them there?
Deinstalled and reinstalled Better Display to get rid of all that old crap. Finally understood, why no "light" came on the big screen: for some reason BetterDisplay switched to 144Hz, which is not possible in that 3440*1440 resolution (monitor standard) I use.
Switched to 120Hz and all set. Ok, I have to apply the colour/gamma corrections again to get a better readability & contrast...
