HDR Toggle disappear after HDR turned on; can't disable

Noticed that when HDR is turned on, some options/toggles are gone from BetterDisplay, such as the capability to turn off HDR directly from shortcut. I'd have to open MacOS Settings to turn off HDR. Similarly goes to the DCC control submenu (not shown in screenshot above though). Is this intentional, MacOS limitation, or feature missing?

You seem to be using a very old v1.x version of the app which is not compatible with macOS Tahoe. Did you try the latest app version?

You are absolutely right - I have no idea how that happened, since I installed via HomeBrew around 2022. Often checked updates but turned out it's the latest of a legacy version. This is just wild, but I have no problem manually running HomeBrew to force a big version jump to 4.x and activate my Pro license. The HDR menu issue is gone and I'll spend some time with the new version. Thanks and please close the issue if needed.
