Since 4.13.0 there's a new component that uses the indexer connector, which is the global queries implementation (IT Hygiene in dashboard)
The indexer connector is a separate component from vulnerability detector. Before 4.13.0 the vulnerability scanner was the only one that indexed documents directly to the indexer.
Since 4.13.0 the system inventory (syscollector) and FIM (syscheck) information is also populated in the indexer through the indexer connector feature.

My suggestion aims to clarify to the user the importance of configuring the indexer connector and ensure they do not associate it only with the vulnerability scanner avoiding error and warning messages in the dashboard like the one below
