Question: Static caching on Craft Cloud

Hi!

It says in the Craft plugins page that Admin Bar is tested on Craft Cloud. Does that mean that it automatically handles the cloud edge static cache? I see the that Blitz full page caching and dynamic includes is mentioned in the documentation, but didn't find anything specific about Craft Cloud or Edge Side Includes (ESI).

Hi again, @svale. This is a good question. I tested the plugin to make sure its static assets (like the JavaScript and CSS files) loaded correctly on Craft Cloud, but I haven't spent time testing ESI. I'll have to look into it and it might take a little bit of time, but I'll keep this issue open and update you on my progress.

@wbrowar @svale just to note, the Craft 4 version of this plugin is not Cloud-ready, as it doesn't register asset bundles.

As for the Cloud/ESI – you'll likely want to do the same thing the Blitz example shows, but with the cloud.esi Twig function: https://craftcms.com/docs/cloud/esi.html
