We’ve built a powerful new blue/green deployment architecture. With this, you can run two Webiny instances in parallel—each in a different AWS region. They’ll automatically stay in sync (data, files, users, everything), and you can switch between them in seconds and have a redundant copy you can failover to at any point. This will be available in Alpa version first.
It is a game-changer!
Tha plan is that you will be able to upgrade one instance, fully test the new version, and once you're confident everything's solid, flip the switch and route traffic to the upgraded environment. If anything goes wrong? Just roll back to the previous version instantly—with all your data intact.
