Describe your app idea

There are currently no vpn apps that I have seen on webos app store. I would like to change my virtual location easily by toggling a switch.

Had the same idea a while back. Programmed it, but don't know yet if it works for other WebOS-Versions. Feel free to try out and give feedback:

@sekrell I've tested this and it does not work on my WebOS 5.4.1-15. The error was vague (can't connect to host 127.0.0.1, connection refused etc). I tried going into ssh and running openvpn from there, but it failed with an error about missing libssl.so.1.0.0. I check and my TV apparently has libssl.so.1.0.2. Could be a red herring, but maybe different versions of the openvpn binary are needed depending on OS version?

Edit for future reference: we worked on it together and it now works!
