Speaker invite email

Here are things which must be in the email:

  • Not that all presentations should be sent in before hand, to give us a back up. If live coding, we need to know this.
  • Specify that all speakers must make them selves known 30 minutes before the event
  • Give them the contact info for the one person responsible for the Open Mic

Info required from the speaker:

  • Title of the talk
  • Short abstract - just a sentence or two
  • Full name
  • Email
  • Phone number - in case we need to contact you on the day of the event
  • Twitter handle / GitHub - optional
