Cannot run .exe application after compile

i use code from README (minimal example)
build via bun build ./minimal.ts --compile --target=bun

same problem here when compiled --compile to binary - it seams that WebUI tries to create a directory which is not possible in the readonly filesystem inside the compiled binary:

This is the code:

When running my compiled executable, it appears that in src/utils.ts - currentModulePath, the path obtained by:

let directory = new URL(import.meta.url).pathname;

does not end in ".exe".

When dropping the test for the ".exe" extension:

if (directory.startsWith("/B:/%7EBUN/")) {

the currentModulePath results in the directory of the executable.

With this change, the app works for me, but I did not dive into this in enough detail to completely know what the intention of the currentModulePath code is or if this breaks anything else, but it may help find the proper solution.

Yes @hweij, indeed, that's solve the issue, but the EXE will download the DLL, and if there is no network then EXE will fail.
We need to find a way how to make Bun embed the DLL at compile time.
