Is Caching google places api results illegal

Hi, I'm currently using your hook and wondering if caching the google places api is illegal. I googled around and found this on google but I assume if you included this functionality you might've looked into this. Thanks and I appreciate it.

Applications using the Places API are bound by the terms of your Agreement with Google. Subject to the terms of your Agreement, you must not pre-fetch, index, store, or cache any Content except under the limited conditions stated in the terms.
