It is fine to request a desktop version. I have considered doing this, but this would be a large effort and would require working on it full-time to make it happen. I'm the only developer and this app doesn't have any funding to do this type of work. Perhaps I can chip away at it in my free time, but this is a long way off.

That being said, it is annoying and ignorant to be requesting such an ambitious undertaking while simultaneously telling the developer (completely unsolicited) which language they should be programming in.
