get notes back from ref in group

In my main local database I use only linked pdfs. I have however references in groups, where the t pdfs are attached normal, as groups don't allow for linked files, which seems logical
My problem is now that I have pdfs in groups, that have been worked on using Zotero for Android, and I don't seem to find a way to get the annotations back to my local pdf, as these are saved in the Zotero database. Zotmoov menu commands are greyed out for group references. Is there any other way how I can use Zotmoov to get the pdf with the comments back from the group ?

I actually found a way to work with the group folders, but it's a but cumbersome. I wondere if Zotmoov could not help to do this better.
I have a 6000+ database with nearly 6000 pdfs and thus nearly 9Gb, so I'm not synching the pdfs in my local data base to Zotero, and I'm only using linked files, thanks to Zotmoov :-)
But I would like to use my tablet and Zotero Android to read and annotate pdf, and I have found the following workaround :

1. create a group libary
2. allow synching of pdfs for the group libary
3. drag your reference to a group folder -> the linked pdf disappears
4. attach the before linked pdf to the reference in the group folder
5. the pdf now appears in Zotero Android on the tablet in the group folder
6. annotate, comment, have fun
7. to get the pdf including the comments back ,
8. first, check in which folders the original reference has been, note them down (I keep these as tags)
9. then delete original reference in local database, "move do bin", this will remove the reference from all local folders
10. delete or rename the original linked pdf file in the Windows file browser
11. drag reference from group folder to local folder,
12. this also moves the files and thanks to Zotmoov, to your local directory and links them.
13. now drag the reference to all the other local folders where it has been classified
14. you have your annotations in your local databas,e can extract them into a note and even use a script to get the tags into your reference (eg. using the Actions and Tags plugin) This works but is a bit cumbersome, and you would loose annotations already done in the local database. ould Zotmovv ease this workflow ?

You can take a look at custom menu items to see if they can help your workflow.

If all you are doing is using Zotero storage to sync to your tablet, there is no need to use group libraries to do so. Users in the past have used the custom menus to create "move to tablet" and "move from tablet" functionality by converting files into local files from linked files and vice versa.

I have >6000 references and even as most of the pdfs are linked, scanning storage shows that I have >500 screenshot html files, overall nearly 1Gb. So I won't synchronize my loca library. And there seems to be no easy method to clear the screenshots out proplery (except brute force deletion, with then many screenshot items in Zotero not linked to a file, I haven't gone there yet ;-). That's why using group libraries seemed to be the easy way, because I can tell Zotero to synchronize the pdfs of the group library only. The problem is getting the annotations back.

Zotmoov doesn’t have any functionality with group libraries. Another potential workaround is converting the html files to linked files as well and syncing the individual library, but there’s not much the plugin can do with your workflow.
