Migrating to main branch with v0.4.0

Just announcing that with the release of 0.4.0, which is coming soon (tracking milestone here), the master branch will be deleted in favor of the main branch. Up until now I have been mirroring changes to master for compatibility, but at this point I think it has been enough time to fully transition to main.
