This is with Windows 11 guest on Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS host, and has occurred with both Wayland and X11. I'm just using the "Windows" application within WinApps, such that I'm looking at an RDP window of the whole Windows desktop.
Every once in a while, when I go to open a file in Windows, I will get a message that says that //tsclient/home has disconnected. If I just close the RDP window (clicking the X on the Ubuntu window manager frame of the RDP session) and open it again (running "Windows" the WinApps application), the window comes back in the same state, and the filesystem connection is re-established. So that's a workaround, but I'd like to try and debug and fix. I don't see any bug reports that seem to refer to anything like this (scanning ones with "tsclient" in the title), but I also can't think of why my WinApps setup would be so special as to have this issue and not others. It happened occasionally when I was using the fmstrat repo with Win10, but I recently moved over to this repo when I moved to Win11, which was a clean new guest install, and now it seems to occur three or four times in any given workday.
Does anyone else experience this?
Can anyone point me to which log files I should be looking at (and on guest or host) for the filesystem part of RDP, or any other clues to look for more evidence as to what's going on?
TIA for any help you can provide.
