[Script Request] Shortcut for adding notes inside PDFs in Zotero

Description

Is there any way to customize the keyboard shortcut in Zotero for adding a note inside of a PDF in the reader? Currently it is opt-3 (on Mac), with a click required. It would be great to be able to change that shortcut to something the user uses for comment-adding in other programs. Might there be a plug-in that allows for this, or a script? Or really any other way to make this process less laborious? Thank you!

(To be clear, I'm referring to notes inside the PDF, and not to standalone notes attached to the Zotero item.)
