Script to split Note from Annotations into separate Item Note per each Annotation?

Hello, I am currently integrating my Zotero notes into Obsidian. I would like to 'Zettelize' my annotations for a given pdf into separate 'atomic notes' by automatically creating a separate Item Note for each annotation. Sometimes in my workflow I have highlighted passages in a pdf without creating Item Notes for each annotations. I would like to automate the process of bulk creating separate Item Notes from these annotations. Essentially, I would like to reproduce what the Refactor plugin could achieve in Obsidian if the Add Note from Annotations plugin interpolated headings between each annotation. I am especially keen on being able to choose a template based on the type of annotation - quote, insight, etc. (perhaps by previously bulk tagging annotations of a given type, color combination with what these mean to a particular user, i.e. myself).
