so basically this script saves you from doing the annoying copy-paste dance every time you want to cite something in Typst.

right-click any item, attachment, or annotation in Zotero → clipboard gets this:

what it does

• works on top-level items, PDF attachments, and annotations — it figures out the right keys itself, you don't have to think about it
• grabs the page number straight from the annotation data
• builds a zotero://open-pdf/… deep link as a comment so you can click back to the exact spot later (genuinely useful, not just decoration)
• citation key lookup: tries Zotero 8's native field first, then falls back to BBT's Extra field (Citation Key:, bibtex:, tex.ids:)

why

writing math notes in Typst and constantly alt-tabbing to check citation keys is not the way. this does it in one click.

You need to do:

Change the

supplement: [S. ...]

to

supplement: [page ...]

or something. I use "S" for "Seite" (german), probably you speak in a different tongue.
