Sorting annotations by update date, and link to a page in PDF

Thanks to the great plugin and templates! I'm trying to modify this template to sort annotations by update date. I'm very new to zotero's plugin system and zotero-better-notes. I have some questions.

1. What is the most simple way to print some messages for debugging? I tried console.log but I got an error console is not defined.
2. How can I get the update date of an annotation? Is there any document for zotero javascript API?
3. When I click an annotation in the created note, some items show a button to open the PDF page where the items is located, but some items show link to the attached item in the library. How can I make all annotations has a link to the page?
