v1.6.0 Fails to Get MQTT Configuration from Supervisor

With v1.6.0 now (and 1.5.1 yesterday), I am getting an error where the add-on seems to not be getting the MQTT configuration values from the installed (and running) Mosquitto broker MQTT add-on. This seems to be the same issue that @rainieryoung reported in issue #36. Since I am using the Mosquitto broker MQTT add-on running on the same HA server, I did not enter anything in the MQTT Server configuration fields.

If, instead, I manually enter the MQTT server information in the itron add-on's configuration, then it seems to start up OK:

Completely rebooting Home Assistant fixed this problem for me without having to type in MQTT server information manually.

@BrettEBowman can you try a full reboot like @klier said? If this is the Supervisor API not returning correct info, I won't be able to do much about that.

Okay, I previously had identified my meter was offline and not visible on my network (from the router). It's now back online but I did still have the same issue as before.

A full reboot appears to have fixed the issue.

Of course, the meter is unhappy again and now I'm getting a timeout communicating to that. However, that's pretty clearly something about the wifi and/or meter itself that I can hopefully address.

For clarity: This error was resolved by a full reboot of Home Assistant.

I did also try rebooting Xcel Itron without the watchdog since that was referenced by the supervisor logs. It changed the behavior slightly but ultimately failed to start.

I wonder if the meter communication issues are causing it to hit the supervisor too fast and get rate limited. It looks like basically everyone is having issues with either timeouts or the meters on their wifi

Checking in if anyone had found anything useful. I have spent a lot of time with no results. My only item to go off of was 1 minute before the 1.5.1v it was pulling data fine. Soon as 1.5.1v updated it stopped. Not pointing to @wingrunr21 in any way (thank you for your work on this!) Im wondering if somehow Xcel had made an update recently and something with certs possibly made it mad. It looks to only be effecting select meters as well.

@thechriswick can you install the edge version and turn on debug logging? Edge is in the same addon repository. You'll just need to copy your certs from the stable version's config over to the edge version's config.

Is the LFDI the same one as in the Xcel dashboard?

It is not, I have been unable to force my original LFDI as it comes from the cert and I'm unsure how I ended up breaking that in the first place.
