Fun fact: Apparently there's already a .NET project called
ContentDotNet, but the name conflict probably doesn't even matter anymore. It's on CodePlex, which is dead, and it's not on GitHub or NuGet either. It was basically a legacy CMS built on ASP.NET Core and Microsoft SQL Server. It's not really well known either, which probably explains the name conflict (I actually conducted a search for
ContentDotNeton both GitHub and NuGet before starting the project, but got no results) - but most importantly, it's not maintained anymore, with the last release being in 2007.Its name comes from the fact that's it a content management tool - hence content, whereas this ContentDotNet's name comes from the fact that it's made to make, create and edit content - general term for videos and multimedia, basically.
No worries though - if you ask ChatGPT nothing but "ContentDotNet" and enable the Search Tool, it will recommend this ContentDotNet on top.
