Sharing our Q2 planning notes, discussed in the call on 31st March 2025. These are candidates for projects for the core team to work on this quarter.

• Refactor how prerendering is built, to avoid requiring APIs not needed on the server.

• Experimental Vite Rolldown support

• Compiler rewrite / refactor

• Opt out of HTML streaming in Astro.js #1123

• Do not have too old opened PRs (help make them get merged if possible). eg. max 3 months old

• Triage 100% of the issues

• Max 100 opened issues again

• Investigate replacing acorn by oxc parser (perf gains? memory usage?)
