Is it possible to 'resume' a function call?

In the scenario that a function call is gated by requirement of a human approval, causing the function to wait. Meanwhile the app can shutdown and restart, and should be able to 'resume' the function call once the approval is given by the user.

If a functional cal is a JSON message, is it possible to obtain and save this message as a means to 'checkpoint & resume' a function call?

You can control the generation flow and chat state yourself using the LlamaChat class, which allows you to customize the handling of function calls.
When a model attempts to call functions, you can dump the state and functions calls JSON to disk, and load it back up later and continue handling the function calls then.

The LlamaChatSession class is just an abstraction over LlamaChat to make it easy to use for common cases, so any chat history you save from LlamaChatSession's .getChatHistory() can be used with LlamaChat (and vice versa).
