Sort order of Generator suggestions?

Seems like there are some Generatrors where it might not always be best to allow historic use dictate sort order. For example, picking numeric values or software release versions, etc. Maybe the historic selections could appear on top, but then be duplicated in proper numeric order below as well? Specifying sort order might be the easy path.
