RNN 8.3.2 incompatible with React Native 0.77.3 New Architecture (TurboModules)

Environment

• React Native version: 0.77.3
• React Native Navigation version: 8.3.2
• Expo version: 52.0.47
• Platform: Android
• New Architecture: Disabled (newArchEnabled=false)
• Hermes: Enabled

Description

When disabling the New Architecture (newArchEnabled=false) in React Native 0.77.3, the app crashes with the following error:

What was the expected behaviour?

Could anyone fix this?

Was it tested on latest react-native-navigation?

• I have tested this issue on the latest react-native-navigation release and it still reproduces.

Expo version: 52.0.47
Has Fabric (React Native's new rendering system) enabled: (yes/no) no
Node version: v20.19.4
Device model: Pixel 6
Android version: Android 16

Versions 8+ only support the New Architecture.
In my own app, I’m running React Native 0.77.3 with 8.3.2 without any issues, so it might be worth double-checking your setup.

Unfortunately, I'm also using Expo 52, and even after enabling the new architecture as described above, I still get the same error.
I've carefully checked my code according to the installation documentation.
