Help with executing app after install and adding it to start menu

Hello,

I am trying to go through the documentation and the dojo videos and there are a couple of things that I cant find how to do after reading and trying everything.

The first would be to run the application after a succesful install and the second would be to add the application (and remove it after uninstall) to the start menu.

Can you point me to some sample configuration or doc that explains it?
