Make an exe file automatically launch after installer runs and when the user logs in.

I would like for the application to automatically start once it is installed.

I think this could be done by adding an entry to the registry or by adding a shortcut to a shortcut in the user's startup folder, but I'm really not sure how to do either of these things using Wix v4. Can anyone help with this?
