Is it a known issue that attempting to update WiX in VS2022 fails

I split a WiX project into two projects, one for services and one for a website. I did this prior to the 4.0.3 update.

When the 4.03 update to the WiX components arrived trying to do a NuGet update failed. I was in a hurry and didn't capture the error. With 4.0.4 I did:

It is simple enough to just edit the project files and update the versions so it isn't critical to my workflow at all. Do you believe that this should be raised as an issue?

I suppose the Visual Studio team might be interested in understanding why their code is crashing. There is a way to send feedback to them from within Visual Studio.

I had already posted a VS feedback item but 99% of the time the response is 'we can't reproduce'. I just thought I'd post the question here to see if it was a general problem for WiX4 users. I'll add to the comments when I get the expected 'we can't reproduce' :-)
