WIX0089 error for ProductCode when using locally built toolset

I built WiX from source, created a new SDK based .wixproj and try to build it using dotnet build product.wixproj, but run into the error below

error WIX0089: Multiple entry sections '{2E015645-0132-4DB0-A590-4F1644832AD9}' and '{2E015645-0132-4DB0-A590-4F1644832AD9}' found. Only one entry section may be present in a single target.

My package only has one entry for the ProductCode. I get the same error when using autogen * GUIDs

If directly run wix.exe from the published artifacts and just point it to my .wxs file, it builds just fine.

From the binlog I can see that CoreCompile invokes WixBuild using the following commandline

Regarding the 5.0.21 version, I modified the version in my local build and set up a local cache to make sure everything comes from the local build. I'm actually branched off the 5.0.2 tag

I am running on .NET 9 in case that might be an issue.

I can also reproduce this using the official 5.0.2 build and .NET 6.0.428 SDK.

I guess the question I should maybe ask is, is using dotnet build supported using the new SDK based wixproj files?

Figured it out. I had a <Compile Include="..."/> that pulled my sources twice, so there were two package elements. I forgot that with the SDK based approach, the globbing will take care of my sources.
