Cron container - undesired default behaviour

Cron container is initialised with the command:

sudo -E crond -f -d 0

the -d 0 appears to set the debug level to zero which bypasses the crontab and runs the cronjob every minute.

This is not the expected behaviour, suggest this option be removed or a comment added explaining the behaviour.

After reviewing the busybox crontab code the -d 0 option doesn't seem to explain the behavior above, I'll leave this open as some explanatory comments would still be useful

By default the directory for crond is /var/spool/cron/crontabs which is a symlink to /etc/crontabs, it uses the period from what defined in the crontab, what's not expected about it?
