Config settings restore to default after reset. #44

Hi,

I'm trying to install nixos on my pi5.

Unfortunately, when I switch to device tree via "Device Manager -> Raspberry Pi Configuration -> ACPI / Device Tree,"
after saving and resetting the pi, returning to this menu shows the system defaults back again.

Is there something I can add to config.txt to enable this setting by default?
Is this project dead? If so, are there any alternatives?
I have a sandisk 512gb a2 sd card. Is this possibly incompatible?

I can boot into the nixos live environment from a usb stick just fine. The issue is that my sd card isn't showing up correctly.
On my pi only the partition with the uefi is shown as /dev/loop0 by lsblk and fdisk. On my main pc 2 partitions are shown under /dev/mmcblk0

These were my main sources of info in my attempt to install it.
