Find out if it's possible to redirect old urls on WP.org to a new location or new content

The goal

If a url in the documentation needs to change, the visitor will be redirected to relevant content in a new location.

Links in the old handbook that needs to redirect to another location are listed in the Google Doc Handbook links to redirect.

The work

Investigate if that is possible, or that we need to keep urls in place.
If not, is there a work around?

The documentation repository has a function for redirecting old content, so there's a precedent for this: https://github.com/WordPress/wporg-documentation-2022/blob/1d558e33ca280cb3cabf8aab09ee8d3cc06731f5/source/wp-content/mu-plugins/site-documentation.php#L36

We'll need to get that implemented by meta, but should be doable.
