Historically I've avoided mentioning virtualenv in the docs, but really robotpy should be installed into a clean new environment each year as pip doesn't have a way to say "not compatible with". Open to ideas on how to fix this, but I mostly think it can't be fixed without changing things about the python ecosystem, or maybe if we forced people to use uv and it's 'isolated environments for everything' model. |
