Main workbench window not visible (is minimized) in many cases

Instead of showing Eclipse IDE + the import dialog on top of it, often (but not always) only the Import dialog is shown.

I have exactly the same problem... I tried 5 times and I always experience this, I've never seen the Eclipse IDE...

i had the same problem and i have the feeling the following order helps (remove old containers before starting)

• open the browser and the page
• will fail
• start the container
• immediately after start refresh the browser.
• if the browser catches the launch screen it works.

i also start with port and volume mapping to ease dealing with projects and installing plugins

It's a combination of a SWT and a Broadway issue I guess, which makes that the workbench sometimes starts as a minimized window, and expanding the window requires a magic trick.
See attached screenshot: in those case, the window is minimized but it is still available a very small shadow on top-left corner; double-click on it will expand it.

I think it's mostly SWT as other apps didn't show this glitch so far.
