What are the reasons to configure GnuCOBOL (creating config.h, obviously) but then building manually with build-libs.sh?
Are there any flags that don't get through?

Needing to link with the libc, which for some reason I had trouble with, the idea was that:

• We trick configure to think this is a full linux system
• We implement what it tought would be a linux system, but only the minimum

Otherwise for some strange reason, it will fail to build programs and complain about missing xxx and yyy so configure will fail

This is just a quick shortcut to make tings more seamless without taking into account the oddities of whatever autoconf tought
