ASUS Z97-Pro Gamer + HswAbove4G.txt issue

• BIOS Version: 2203
• GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti
• CSM is turned off.
• 4G decoding is enabled.
• UEFIPatch is applied

Description

I do have Above 4G Decoding option on my MB. However, if I don't apply HswAbove4G.txt patch, I don't see ReBAR enabled (with all the necessary steps done). If I do apply it and have Above 4G Decoding option enabled, boot hangs on the logo stage (have to reset BIOS settings afterwards). Can anyone explain what exactly HswAbove4G.txt patch is doing?

And yes, I'm using NvStrapsReBar.ffi, but since patches are from here, I thought it's OK to ask.

@drolevar What method did you use to flash the modded bios? Do you also still have your original bios dump? This might be out of topic, but do you also understand how to use mod grub?
