https://api.coinmarketcap.com/v1/ticker is deprecated

Running a backtest returns the following error:
CMC failed: 500 Can't connect to api.coinmarketcap.com:443 (LWP::Protocol::https::Socket: SSL connect attempt failed with unknown error error:1407742E:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert protocol version)

Since CoinMarketCap had discontinued their public API, there are a few other alternatives that can be explored like alternative.me/crypto or coingecko.com/api/.
