Native Image Lightbox/Zoom Support in Editor and Preview Modes #405

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Current plugin is often bloated with editing features like cropping, rotating, and flipping. For users who just want to quickly inspect high-resolution details via mouse wheel zooming, these plugins feel too 'heavy' and interrupt the reading/writing flow. A lightweight, native 'click-to-zoom' implementation would be much more efficient.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like a native Image Lightbox or Quick Zoom feature:
Click to Expand: Clicking an image (or Cmd/Ctrl + Click) should open it in a focused overlay (lightbox).
Mouse Wheel Zoom: While the image is focused, using the mouse wheel should allow for smooth zooming in and out.
Drag to Pan: When zoomed in, users should be able to click and drag to move around the image.
Dismiss: Pressing Esc or clicking the background should return to the editor instantly.
