This roadmap outlines our anticipated major feature releases in addition to proposed and planned ongoing service releases.

Current Version

Xamarin.Forms 5.0.0 is the current stable release. Release notes

Xamarin releases are covered by the Xamarin Support Policy, and service releases for Xamarin.Forms 5 will ship monthly.

Next Major Version - .NET 6

The development of our next major version is underway at dotnet/maui. .NET MAUI is scheduled to GA on .NET 6 in the second quarter of 2022.

Your existing and new Xamarin.Forms applications will migrate to .NET MAUI with the .NET Upgrade Assistant.
