Over in the Russian telegram 5m community someone has swapped it. I believe it's functional but haven't delved into details. It above my skill level lol |

The replacement CPU install did not go well.. lol As for the MCU, I’m still trying to figure out how to flash it, STM Link doesn’t see the Nations MCU, and the klipper method doesn’t work either… So I’ll have to try another method to flash. |

I was planning on doing this as well. My soldering skills are decent I replaced the SMD Drivers on my old printer from A4988 to TMC2208. This shouldn't be much harder. |

I did it successfully, so only one thing needs to be done after the swap: flash the new DTB |

Hey everyone, apologies if I’m in the wrong area. I had an idea to hopefully fix the issues regarding low memory.
The AD5M uses an Allwinner T113-S3 SOC with 128MB RAM, Allwinner does have an almost identical package T113-S4 with 256MB RAM.
Would there be any chance this could work? Or are there firmware ‘locks’ preventing the use of more than 128MB? I’ve already ordered the new SOC, so I’d love to be a guinea pig for trying things.
