Getting Page not Found

I just downloaded micromvc and when try to http://localhost:8080/ , I keep getting

  404 The requested resource / was not found on this server.  

How should I correct the .htaccess ? I have not made any changes to any files download.

There are a variety of reasons your page may not be loading. My first question would be whether that was the MicroMVC 404 page or the Apache one.

The old Apache server is not really supported as a platform. MicroMVC will work fine on it, but you will have to write your own .htaccess file (using one from wordpress or drupal should work).

MicroMVC only comes with an Nginx configuration file.
