Recent CI failures

In the past three days there have been hangs at QEMU booting stage when testing LLVM trunk and Linux v6.11-rc4 + patch v1.0.

Let me open this issue but wait a bit longer to see if the problem persists, as I briefly investigated and find evidence that LLVM is changing certain things back and forth (resulting CI PASS-FAIL-PASS-FAIL...).

Linking this bug for reference. It may or may not be related to this specific instance of hanging. However it does seem to be related to an instrumented kernel hanging when CONFIG_LLVM_COV_PROFILE is turned on.
