Stuck on open stage does not goes to "online" state

Describe the bug

so basically when i try to open the xmpp connection its always stuck on the "OPEN" stage and never goes to the "ONLINE" stage

Your prosody doesn't look configured correctly, get support there please.

I tried to connect with psi and it seems to work fine? is there anything i have to consider when configuring?

fyi i have a self hosted prosody server and also i checked the logs i didnt noticed any errors or anything

Your server is only advertising iq-auth for authentication which has been deprecated for many years. The only reason it works with Psi is because it still supports this unsafe method.

Your server should offer sasl authentication.
