Receiving this error in the console, using a NVIDIA geForce 3060, is it the grahpics card? or am i doing something wrong here?

I get the same error when using cryptonight as the algorithm when mining on pool.minexmr.com:4444. Switching to the cryptonight-light or cryptonight-heavy algorithm fixes it.

This project has been abandoned after the fork to xmrig-cuda plugin for normal xmrig

You will all have much better luck using actually supported software. This is dead since 2019.
