If not added yet;
While on the map and not in a menu, allow to shift select (add on drag a highlight/polygon) an area for example in order to zoom into and center on a part of the map to improve UX for some people (and remove highlight/polygon).

(sidenote: could also add a 'zoom out to full map extent' button somewhere)
