Voxlap Models crashes on linux

When I activate Voxlap Models in BetterSpades GNU/Linux it crashes.
And the blood and the blocks being destroyed are not Voxlap Models ;)

Edit:
The computer that betterspades crashed on is acer aspire l3600 with Debian nonfree
Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E4600
Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family
