However, when I run the website on my phone, it appears smaller or part of the writting is cut off. Do you have any idea why this is happening?

I ran into this too, I fixed this in my version of the theme. I wanted to make sure it looks good on mobile bc that's where most people will see it for the application I wanted to use this theme for.

I wanted to use this theme but saw that this is outdated and not maintained, so I decided to convert the newest Bootstrap code to a Jekyll theme from scratch. Then, once I started using the theme, I realized I could make some additions to make the original theme more useful, such as Google Analytics support, a functional contact form, customizable styling, mobile compatibility, etc.
