How to use eslint?

Theoretical I want to run eslint separate in every sub package.

How do I run eslint?

@benjie works for me your setup, unique differences are

• is "lint": "eslint ." <- dot is missing
• the yarnPath is versioned

Furthermore, you package.json does not match with the plugin usage, anyway does not have any effect anyway. Check this example.

I don't know what happened, but you'r right, it works now in the project root.

How do I run it in the workspace packages?

my directory structure:

code
  adapters
    package.json
  core
    package.json
  applications
    lambda
      package.json
package.json

The node_modules folder with the binaries is on the project root.

I just needed to add in every submodule eslint also as a dependency and run yarn install

I'm using 12 extra eslint plugins. Do I have to install these dependencies in every workspace?

In the end I decided to use eslint on the top level because it’s easier in my case. So the include pattern contained all directories of the workspces
