Downloading non-MQA CD-quality FLAC of "Master" album

Hello,

please, is it possible to download a plain, non MQA-encoded FLAC (in CD-quality 16/44.1) of a "Master" Album?
Because, when I try to do so, Roon still recognizes this flac file as an MQA file.
Audio quality is set to "AudioQuality.HiFi", API key is set to "Normal/High/HiFi(No Master)"

So, given that, it should download normal CD quality FLAC, no MQA. But it does not. Perhaps this is how Tidal work, so it's not a bug?

If you are setting your quality to "HiFi" it will download as a non MQA-encoded FLAC.
If you are using Roon verify that Roon prefers the downloaded local file instead of the Tidal version of the songs. (I believe this is not true from the initial presets).

I'm having a problem where I set Roon to play (using Tidal) FLAC files and ignore/avoid all MQA files but the output I read is MQA encoded. but thats a Roon bug (also whats weird is that my Tidal subscription does not include MQA).

It's not the case - my Roon is not logged in to Tidal, so it can't download anything from it. It's really playing the local file.
What further adds to this is mystery, is that Audirvana 3.5 does not detect MQA, but a signature checker (https://github.com/redsudo/mqaid) found a MQA signature. So, I can't really be sure whether or not these albums are crippled with MQA, even if they are just 16/44.1.
So, looks like it's not a bug in the downloader, it's how Tidal work - whenever an album is a "Master", files might be MQA-crippled even on HiFi quality.
