improve execute query experience

1. add the ability to run the query under the cursor without requiring selection.
2. consider making this the default behavior, or at least allow it to be easily set as the default—providing an alternative to executing the entire query editor contents as a script.

maybe to play with background highlighting of a whole sql statement ... - to make this behavior more obvious.
