bmaptool in C/C++

any existing tool to process (write) bmap image written in C/C++ ?

would love to have something not pulling the whole python into tiny embedded system image.

I started a project here : https://github.com/embetrix/bmap-writer it does support all compression filters that are handled by libarchive and streaming mode.

I don't know about a C/C++ version, but Collabora worked on a Rust version: https://github.com/collabora/bmap-rs

IIRC, it supports the copying use-case but not the generation of block maps.
