Is it possible to enable the connection to the game server port from the desktop application? Thus, some users would play through the browser and some through the cs desktop application. Can this be achieved through a proxy?

This one can be achieved without proxy, currently web interface completely replaces udp network interface, but it's possible to implement it just receive and send data front different sources

Yeah, may be sometime in the future, it's not much, may be a couple of hours for a person who already had udp c experience

I have one more question...Are you sure that steam client can connect to xash3d server? I made some modifications to your code and now i am able to connect from xash3d client desktop app, but from steam desktop app still not working...Maybe i should have hl dedicated server and than make your code to work with it?

it should work, you can try vanilla xash fwgs ds to connect from steam version

I’ve tried everything, and I’m pretty sure it’s not possible to connect from the Steam desktop app to a Xash3D server. Can you confirm this?
However, I found another approach: I redirect the data from WebRTC to a Half-Life dedicated server instead of a Xash3D server. This way, the web client connects to the HL server, and both the Steam desktop client and the Xash3D desktop client can also connect to the same HL server.
In my opinion, the Xash3D server performs better, but the HL server setup is quite similar overall.
